The Department of Islamic Law under Knowledge of Quran & Smart Life (KQSL) is a research-based program designed to study Islamic legal principles, Muslim law, and Quran-centric legal understanding in a structured academic way. This department connects Quranic research with modern legal education so that learners can understand how Shariah principles, national Muslim law, legal reasoning, and justice-based research relate to real legal systems.
This program is academically connected with Lilac School of Law (LSL), professionally connected with Lilac Law Firm (LLF), and inspired by DH Sakib’s Legal Journey. The aim is to build a responsible bridge between Islamic knowledge, legal education, ethical research, and practical legal awareness.

The Islamic Law Course (KQSL108) is designed to study Islamic law through Quranic guidance, Muslim legal tradition, and modern legal research. The goal is to understand the Quran as a complete source of guidance for justice, ethics, rights, responsibility, and human conduct, while studying how Islamic legal principles are interpreted and applied within real legal systems.
In the modern world, Islamic law is not fully implemented in most Muslim-majority countries. Instead, Muslim societies commonly operate through state-recognized Muslim law, family law, inheritance law, court practice, and national legal systems. Therefore, advanced Quran-based legal research requires a strong foundation in recognized Muslim law before moving into deeper Shariah-based analysis.
For this reason, KQSL108 connects Quranic legal research with the Muslim Law pathway supported by Lilac School of Law (LSL) . The Quran remains the supreme guidance in Islamic understanding, while national Muslim law provides the practical legal structure through which many Islamic legal principles are studied, taught, and applied today.
Quranic & Legal Foundation
This program approaches Islamic law with respect for the Quran, authentic Sunnah, classical legal methodology, and modern academic research. The Quran commands justice, trust, and responsible judgment, including the principles reflected in Surah An-Nisa 4:58, Surah An-Nisa 4:135, and Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:8.
Students are guided to study Islamic legal thought responsibly, without using partial knowledge for fatwa, legal advice, social conflict, or unauthorized legal decision-making. The course is academic and research-based, not a substitute for qualified scholars, licensed lawyers, courts, or national legal procedures.

Semester-4 is restricted to LSL students, LLB candidates, legal researchers, advocates, and qualified legal professionals only. General learners may study the earlier academic framework but cannot enter restricted practice-based legal modules without proper academic or professional readiness.

Running LLB students may study Muslim Law and related legal subjects through LSL, while KQSL provides advanced English-medium research-based Islamic Law study. This creates a dual pathway: national legal education through LSL and Quran-centric legal research through KQSL.

- After enrollment confirmation, students receive official ID, access instructions, book links, passwords, and academic guidelines where applicable.

Research & Publication Requirement
The Islamic Law Course (KQSL108) is a research-based program. Students are expected to study the course materials carefully, understand Muslim law and Quranic legal principles responsibly, and develop academic research under approved guidance.
To officially pass a semester, each student must publish at least one research paper through an approved Lilac internal journal or international journal pathway, maintaining proper academic quality, source authenticity, and ethical legal research standards.
Transcript & Certificate
Upon successful completion of the academic and research requirements, Lilac Education, under its Examination & Control Board, may issue official academic documents to eligible KQSL Islamic Law students.
Each document may include online verification to support authenticity, institutional credibility, and proper academic documentation. No transcript or certificate will be issued without completing the required study, research, and publication standard.

The Department of Islamic Law operates under Islamic source authenticity, academic integrity, legal responsibility, privacy protection, and institutional discipline. The foundation of this department is clear: Allah is One, the Quran is divine guidance, and Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is the final Messenger of Allah.

KQSL108 Islamic Law — Summary Video Access is a video-only knowledge access model based on KQSL Islamic Law research materials and distributed through Freesia Education. It is designed for general learners who want summarized video-based understanding without joining the full research-based academic program.
Official KQSL research students receive full academic materials, research guidance, evaluation, and publication requirements. Video-only access users receive only summarized video lessons for knowledge development. They are not registered KQSL Islamic Law research students, Lilac Education research students, or academic program students.
Approval Required Before Payment
Random payment is not allowed. Before making payment, learners must contact KQSL/Freesia support through WhatsApp and receive approval. Course video availability, selected language, access page, and password system must be checked before payment.
