Department of Hadith
Studying the authentic Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ through structured research, source verification, and practical Islamic understanding.
The Department of Hadith under Knowledge of Quran & Smart Life (KQSL) is a research-based department designed to help learners study the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ with authenticity, discipline, and academic responsibility. Since the Quran is the primary source of Islamic guidance and the Sunnah explains, demonstrates, and applies that guidance, Hadith study remains deeply connected with the Quran Research Department. This connection follows the Quranic principle of prophetic explanation and obedience, as reflected in Surah An-Nahl 16:44 and Surah Al-Hashr 59:7.
KQSL Hadith begins with KQSL104-01: Fundamental Hadith Studies, where students build essential understanding of Hadith, Sunnah, authenticity, classification, narration, and safe application. After completing the fundamental level, qualified learners may gradually enter advanced research pathways connected with the major Hadith collections, including Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Sunan Abu Dawood, Jami’ at-Tirmidhi, Sunan an-Nasa’i, and Sunan Ibn Majah.
This department is for academic and research-based Islamic learning only. No Hadith should be shared, explained, or applied without proper source checking, scholarly care, and responsible understanding.

Official Payment GatewayCourse Goal & Vision
The goal of the Department of Hadith is to help learners understand the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ through authentic sources, academic discipline, and responsible research. Since the Quran commands obedience to Allah and His Messenger, and the Prophet ﷺ explains and demonstrates the guidance of the Quran, Hadith study is essential for understanding Islam properly. This principle is reflected in Surah An-Nahl 16:44, Surah An-Nisa 4:59, Surah Al-Hashr 59:7, and Surah Al-Ahzab 33:21.
This department does not encourage random Hadith sharing or surface-level quotation. Instead, students are trained to understand what Hadith is, how authenticity is checked, how Hadith connects with the Quran, how scholars classify narrations, and how Sunnah should be studied with humility, evidence, and proper academic care.
Why Fundamental Hadith Studies Comes First
Hadith is a highly sensitive field. A learner must first understand the basics of Hadith, Sunnah, sanad, matn, narrator reliability, classification, authenticity, and the difference between accepted and weak narrations before entering deep research. For this reason, KQSL begins the Hadith pathway with KQSL104-01: Fundamental Hadith Studies.
After completing the fundamental level, qualified students may gradually enter advanced Hadith research connected with the six major Hadith collections. This protects students from misunderstanding, misquoting, or applying Hadith without proper source awareness and scholarly discipline.
Recommended Learning Pathway
KQSL recommends that learners build their Islamic knowledge step by step. Since Hadith explains and demonstrates the Quranic guidance, students are encouraged to strengthen their Quranic foundation before entering deeper Hadith research.

Connection with Quran Research Department
The Hadith Department remains connected with the Quran Research Department because the Quran is the primary source of Islamic guidance, and authentic Hadith explains the Quran through the words, actions, approvals, and practical life of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. This relationship must be studied carefully so that Hadith is never separated from Quranic guidance and Quranic understanding is not separated from the authentic Sunnah.
Therefore, students who complete Quran Research or build a strong Quranic foundation are strongly encouraged to continue their advanced Islamic study through the Hadith Department.
Advanced Hadith Research Structure
After completing KQSL104-01: Fundamental Hadith Studies, qualified students may gradually enter the advanced Hadith research track. This track is designed for serious learners who want to study the major Hadith collections with proper source awareness, Quran-Hadith connection, authenticity checking, thematic understanding, and academic research discipline.
Each major Hadith collection is treated as a separate long research pathway. The standard structure is 24 semesters per Hadith book, with a required research and publication process in every semester.
Six Hadith Collection Research Track
The advanced department may gradually organize research pathways around the major Hadith collections. These are studied with scholarly caution, Quranic connection, source verification, and responsible academic interpretation.
Sahih al-Bukhari
24-semester advanced research pathway with thematic, source-based, and Quran-connected study.
Sahih Muslim
