Department of Hafezi

Become a Hafiz of the Quran — at any age, from anywhere in the world.

The Department of Hafezi is a course-based Quran memorization department under Knowledge of Quran & Smart Life (KQSL), designed for learners who can read the Quran and want to memorize it through a structured online system. This department is open to eligible learners globally, regardless of age or location, as long as they are comfortable with the KQSL learning method and committed to regular recitation practice. No SOP is required for this course-based department. Students can join from any country and continue their memorization journey step by step with teacher guidance, personal discipline, and accessible digital support.

The learning system uses modern online tools such as Google Classroom, WhatsApp support, and scheduled live review sessions where applicable. Through this system, students can receive assignments, submit recitations, get feedback from instructors, and progress at a suitable pace. The goal is to make Hifz-ul-Quran more accessible, organized, and spiritually meaningful for learners who sincerely want to carry the words of Allah in their hearts.

Goals

The main goal of the Department of Hafezi is to help learners memorize the Quran in a way that fits their lifestyle, schedule, and personal capacity. Through flexible online learning, regular recitation submission, teacher feedback, and accessible support, this program makes Quran memorization more manageable and achievable for students from different countries and backgrounds. The department seeks to encourage lifelong engagement with the Quran and help learners build a deep, disciplined, and personal connection with the words of Allah.

History

Established in 2019, the Department of Hafezi at Knowledge of Quran & Smart Life (KQSL), part of the Lilac Education ecosystem, was founded to provide a structured and globally accessible platform for Quran memorization. The idea came from the need to help learners continue Hifz-ul-Quran despite time, distance, or location barriers.

By using modern digital learning tools such as Google Classroom, WhatsApp, and scheduled live support sessions, the Hafezi program made the memorization process more organized and accessible. Today, the department follows the effective DH Special Model, where students memorize ayat step by step in a flexible system, receive correction from instructors, and gradually build strong progress over time.

Revision Model

Revision is a central part of the KQSL Hafezi Program. Students are encouraged to revise daily at their own pace, report their daily completion in the designated WhatsApp group, and participate in scheduled review sessions where previous surahs may be assessed by instructors.

  • Students should revise daily according to their memorization capacity and teacher guidance.
  • Daily revision completion should be reported in the WhatsApp group at the end of the day.
  • Weekly review sessions may be conducted where instructors assess previous memorization live.
  • At the end of each semester, students must submit the full semester’s memorization through Google Classroom.
  • From Semester 2 onward, students should include previously completed semesters in their revision submission where instructed.
  • To graduate, students must complete three full-course revisions: one from the end of the Quran, one from the beginning, and one live revision session.
  • Each complete revision carries 9 credits, making a total of 27 revision credits.

Internship

After completing the required memorization, revision, and credit requirements, graduates may apply for an internship with KQSL or related institutes. The internship carries 10 additional credits and is designed to help qualified graduates develop teaching discipline, student support ability, and Quranic education service skills.

Exceptional students may be considered for future teaching or assistant teaching opportunities within KQSL based on performance, discipline, recitation quality, revision strength, communication ability, and institutional approval.

Transcript & Certificate

Upon successful completion of the Hafezi Program requirements, Lilac Education, under its Examination & Control Board, may issue official transcripts and certificates to eligible KQSL graduates.

Each document may include online verification to support authenticity, institutional credibility, and proper academic documentation.

Department Law & Policy

The Department of Hafezi operates under Islamic, academic, privacy, and institutional discipline. The foundation of this department is clear: Allah is One, the Quran is divine guidance, and Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is the final Messenger of Allah. This principle is understood in light of the Quran, including Surah Al-Ikhlas 112:1, Surah Al-Baqarah 2:185, and Surah Al-Ahzab 33:40.

  • Source Authenticity: No religious statement, teaching, or interpretation should be presented without reference to the Quran and authentic Hadith. This rule applies to students, teachers, administrators, and founders.
  • Islamic Respect: All learners must maintain respect for Allah, the Quran, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, Islamic values, teachers, and fellow students.
  • Student Equality: All enrolled Muslim students are treated with dignity, fairness, and equal learning respect within the department.
  • Privacy Protection: Student identity, teacher identity, class access, personal information, and learning records must be protected. Unauthorized sharing is not allowed.
  • Behavioral Discipline: Any activity against Islamic values, national law, institutional policy, or class discipline may lead to account restriction, removal, or review.
  • Disciplinary & Legal Review: Serious violations may lead to institutional review and necessary legal action where applicable to protect the department, teachers, students, and learning system.
  • New Muslim Support: New Muslim converts are welcome. They may receive confidential support and, where applicable, separate beginner-level guidance for their initial Islamic studies.

Flexible Semester Time Policy

The Department of Hafezi follows a flexible memorization system. Since learners may study from different countries, ages, time zones, family situations, and personal schedules, KQSL does not apply a strict semester time limit for Hafezi learners in the same way as regular academic programs.

The syllabus and semester structure are fixed, but the completion time is flexible. After completing the memorization, submission, correction, and revision requirements of one semester, a student may proceed to the next semester with teacher approval.

Lilac Education may maintain official semester guidelines for course-based and research-based programs; however, the Hafezi Department is treated with special flexibility because Quran memorization is connected with personal discipline, spiritual journey, revision strength, and lifelong engagement with the Quran.

KQSL also aims to provide long-term access to learning content where applicable, because Islamic learning is a lifelong journey. However, students who remain inactive for a long time, willingly leave the system, misuse access, or stop communication without valid reason may fall under the general academic, access, and disciplinary rules of KQSL and Lilac Education.
